Why buy from Jester Bee Co.?
  • Bee production is our focus. Our main business is producing and supplying colonies on comb.
  • Established queens. Our nucs grow with their queen, allowing time to assess her laying and brood before sale.
  • Year-round availability. Tell us about your local season and colony needs so we can discuss availability and timing.
  • Inspect before accepting. Plan time at pickup to look through the colonies you are buying.
How should I arrange pickup?
  • Confirm your bee option, quantity, availability, and pickup appointment before making travel plans.
  • Allow time to inspect your colonies and discuss the load before departure.
  • Discuss your vehicle or trailer, load dimensions, weight, and equipment with us in advance. Evening loading is preferred; confirm the arrangements for your order.
  • Ask us about health certificates and pickup paperwork before your order is loaded.
  • For smaller quantities, combining a trip with other beekeepers may help. Discuss a sideliner or bee club order.
What should I plan for transport and arrival?

Plan the full trip before pickup, including travel time, weather, stops, and your arrival time. Discuss airflow, netting, load security, and heat management with us for your particular load.

Have a suitable apiary location and equipment ready at home. Nucs can become crowded quickly and may need prompt transfer and feeding. Ask us for care guidance suited to your colonies and the conditions at your destination.

Can I inspect the bees before taking them?

Yes. We encourage you to inspect every colony you are buying and make sure you are happy with it before taking responsibility for your order.

We cannot guarantee colonies after they leave our control. Please raise any concerns during inspection, before departure.
